WELCOME

MESSAGE

In an era where neurodiagnostics are evolving rapidly, the ability to read routine scalp EEGs is foundational for electroencephalographers and epileptologists. The ASEPA-ANZAN EEG course has been held in Australia annually since 2000, and it has since been held in various other countries, including New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, India, China, Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Mongolia.

The inaugural Singapore edition of the course will be happening in March 2026, and we warmly welcome you to attend. The aims of the course are to introduce routine scalp EEG, improve EEG reporting, and teach systematic and careful approaches to the use of EEG.

You will greatly benefit from the course if you are reading EEGs or planning to read EEGs in future. Both prospective candidates for the ASEPA-ASNA EEG certification exam and electroencephalographers who have already passed the exam are welcome to attend. You may also consider attending if you are referring patients for EEG but not necessarily reading EEGs. Both clinicians and technologists are welcome.

Reading and reporting EEGs is a skill that takes time to master. Thus, this two-day course is not designed as a final destination, but as a structured beginning – laying the foundation for a lifelong journey of EEG mastery. It is also an excellent opportunityto connect with others from the EEG community. We hope to see you there! Thank you.

Yours sincerely,
